Camp Capacity 30 skates and 6 goalies

We ask that Seckman School District players be given the first opportunity to sign up.  On Saturday, July 1 we will open all remaining spots to non-Seckman district players.   In the event that we hit capacity and a non-Seckman players has registered, prior to 7/1, the Seckman player will be accepted and the non-Seckman player will receive a refund.  If a Seckman districted player tries to sign up after 7/1 they will be subject to camp capacity limits just like any other player.

2nd Semester Report Cards

• With the school year wrapping up everyone will be receiving their reports cards soon.  If you plan to play for a Seckman Team during the 23-24 season (Varsity, JV Gold or JV Blue) we are going to need a copy your 2nd Semester grades to verify eligibility.  When you receive the report card from school just forward the email to our club registrar.  If you don't do it now you will just need to dig it up the fall.  This applies to all high school age players who are going to tryout for Varsity and JV Gold and all 2009 and 2010 (upcoming 7th and 8th graders) who are interested in our playing on our JV Blue Team (Illinois).

USA Hockey Safe Sport

• USA Hockey Safe Sport Action item, ALL 2005 and 2006 birth year players will be required to complete the online Safe Sport Program (I know the website just say 2005 but it is going to be 05 and 06).  Follow this link to the Safe Sport site.

Middle School aged players who are interested in playing JV Blue

• I have received several questions about tryouts for JVB Illinois.  At this time we do not plan on having tryoust for this team.  If you are a 2007 through 2010  (7th grade 2010s) and live in the Seckman District you are eligible to play in the MVCHA league.

NEW VARSITY HELMETS

• Last thing, please remember that VARSITY is moving to Royal Blue helmets for the upcoming season.  When you buy your new helmet make sure it is Royal Blue NOT Navy Blue.  If you play JV you can wear what ever color you choose.
